About Us
The Hilda Chisi Foundation was established to continue the legacy of Hilda Bowa Chisi—a devoted Christian missionary, passionate advocate for education, and a tireless voice for the vulnerable. From her humble beginnings in Malawi to her missionary work across Africa, Asia, and Europe, Hilda dedicated her life to empowering the underprivileged, especially girls, single mothers, and orphans.
She believed every child deserves the chance to dream, every woman deserves the tools for independence, and every community has the power to rise when given opportunity.
Today, we carry forward her vision through innovative, life-changing projects:
-
Ikan (I Can) – breaking barriers for girls’ education.
-
Hands for Purpose – equipping single mothers to build financial independence.
-
My Father’s House – creating safe, loving homes for orphans.
-
The Hub – empowering youth with digital skills for a global economy.
Our mission is rooted in Hilda’s faith and first-hand understanding of the challenges faced by orphans, single mothers, and vulnerable young people. Through our work, we aim to create environments where hope can flourish, dignity can be restored, and futures can be rewritten. Our work is grounded in faith, compassion, and sustainable impact—building not just temporary solutions, but lasting transformation.
